Control on the Alfa GT is absolute, thanks to the use of solutions derived directly from Formula 1, such as the high wishbone front suspension - perfectly complemented by the rear suspension, Alfa Romeo’s development of the McPherson system - guaranteeing stability at high speeds and agility on mixed surfaces.The integrated double circuit hydraulic brakes come complete with ABS and EBD brakeforce distribution. Then there is the VDC system to dominate the road, ASR to prevent wheel slip, and MSR to avoid skidding.
Safety & control
The central safety element on the Alfa GT is the torsional stiffness of the body, with progressive deformation, complemented by an impressive array of advanced equipment: the FPS fire prevention system, which cuts off the flow of fuel in the event of a collision, anti-penetration bars in the doors, and energy-absorbing interior trim that fully complies with stringent USA fire-resistance standards. There are also 6 airbags as standard, including two all-new window bags.
