Giulietta is Chi è Chi "Cars of the year 2011"

The success of the latest Alfa Romeo car model continues. After having been awarded the title of “Auto Europa 2011” by the Italian Automotive Specialised Press Association, Alfa Romeo was awarded first prize in the conventional engine category in the "Cars of the Year 2011” competition promoted by Chi è Chi and according to automotive journalists.


The journalists that voted numbered 421, and the Alfa Romeo Giulietta received 104 votes.
The “Cars of the Year” award, set up in 1964 on the initiative of several important trade magazines, it is recognised around the world and is awarded by the most authoritative journalists of European magazines: Auto (Italy), Autocar (United Kingdom), Autopista (Spain), Autovisie (Netherlands), L'Automobile Magazine (France), Stern (Germany) and Vi Bilägare (Sweden).


"Cars of the year" is a European award designed to award the model of car that, during the twelve months prior to the award, has made the best design and technological innovation contributions in connection with its sale price. This award is assigned by Chi è Chi from automotive journalists. 
What the Alfa Romeo Giulietta has achieved is a prestigious recognition.


The car will receive the award at the Geneva International Motor Show on March 1st.
