MiTo and the environment

The MiTo has one priority: respect the environment. For this reason, the petrol and diesel engines are Euro 5 compliant while motorists more interested in sustainable ecology can choose the LPG turbo engine.
Excellence is achieved with the revolutionary MultiAir engine (1.4 TB MultiAir 170 HP) that achieves high power levels while guaranteeing a reduction of 10% in emissions and fuel consumption compared to conventional engines.
The MultiAir and diesel JTDM-2 engines are also equipped with Start&Stop: a system that stops and automatically restarts the engine when standing in city traffic. A Gear Shift Indicator also suggests when to shift to optimise engine efficiency and cut fuel consumption.
