An unforgettable day at Museo Storico, dedicated to Alfa Romeo’s ageless creativity and passion.
June 24th is never an ordinary day for Alfa Romeo fans: it is the official anniversary of the Brand, founded in Milan in 1910 as A.L.F.A (Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili). From the very first model ever created, the 24-HP designed by Giuseppe Merosi, the Brand went on to conquer the hearts of millions over the decades with its creations and unmistakable Italian allure.
The most iconic models of its glorious history are on show at “La Macchina del Tempo”, the Museo Storico of Arese (Milan) renewed and re-opened in 2015 for the launch of Giulia Quadrifoglio, the first chapter of the new Alfa Romeo era.
Here, hundreds of enthusiasts gathered to celebrate the latest Anniversary on a perfect, summer weekend dedicated to legendary models and design.
Alfa Romeo celebrated the 30th anniversary of the 164, with a conference and a motorcade around the Arese track, just outside the Museo Storico.
The true stars of the day, though, were the designers of the Centro Stile Alfa Romeo, who interpreted the timeless design of legendary models in “live” sketching for the assembled fans: a unique moment, giving Alfa enthusiasts the chance to meet the talents that shaped Giulia and Stelvio.
