3rd STAGE: ROMA – PARMA

In the third stage of Mille Miglia, the legendary race cars took to a route of incomparable beauty.

As the first rays of morning sunlight greeted Rome, the convey moved on, in the blink of an eye, to the sun-filled skies of Ronciglione, Vico Lake, Viterbo and  Radiocofani, reaching Monteriggioni by lunch time. Then, the journey started again, immersed in the idyllic landscape of Tuscany, passing through San Miniato and the ancient walled city of Lucca, climbing on to Pietrasanta, brushing the town of Sarzana in Liguria and onwards once more to Passo della Cisa, until their final destination in Parma, the pearl of the Emilia region.

Even during this stage, Giulia and Stelvio had no fear of the other vintage cars competing in the race, showing spectators in every town and city Alfa Romeo’s unfailing ability to create authentic jewels of mechanical mastery and style, that still make the hearts of Italian motor enthusiasts – but not only  – skip a beat.
