The Ferrari driver visits the Museo Storico and test-drives Giulia Quadrifoglio for the very first time.
A story of two kindred souls: Giancarlo Fisichella and Alfa Romeo meet again, this time at the Museo Storico in Arese. The Ferrari driver had the chance to relive some unforgettable moments of his career and test-drive the 510HP Giulia Quadrifoglio for the very first time.
The story between Giancarlo and Alfa Romeo dates back to his childhood. His father, the owner of a car body shop in Rome, used to drive an Alfa Romeo Giulietta: a memory the former F1 driver still holds dear.
Giancarlo’s driving debut arrived in 1992 with the Alfa Formula Boxer championship. As a young talent, Alfa Romeo nurtured Giancarlo in its Alfa Corse DTM Team. In 1995, he made his debut aboard the legendary Alfa Romeo 155 in the illustrious company of outstanding drivers such as Larini, Nannini and Alboreto.
“My years with the Alfa Corse Team
were probably the happiest of my entire life”
Following a visit to the Museo Storico, which saw him meet up with his former cars, Giancarlo Fisichella found the perfect partner in Giulia Quadrifoglio.
The meeting between the two stars was a memorable one: the result is a breathtaking test drive at the Arese track. There was an immediate understanding between the Italian driver and the most powerful Alfa Romeo for road use ever produced.
“The handling is instinctive, the torque is outstanding.
The sound? Actually, Giulia Quadrifoglio… can sing!”
