ODE TO AERODYNAMICS
Starting with a Giulia Quadrifoglio as the basis for the project is incredibly exciting in itself. But when we challenged our Luna Rossa and Alfa Romeo combined team of engineers to maximize speed performance through aerodynamic engineering, the excitement turned into a real thrill. The new Aero Pack is the result of a dream made possible thanks to wise hands, deep knowledge and rooted Italian passion.
An incredible passion for aerodynamics is what the two teams of technical engineers at Alfa Romeo and Luna Rossa have in common: together, they created an aerodynamic solution that cuts through the air and pushes this Giulia down onto the road, increasing downforce by 5X. While we wait to see what other contributions will come, let's enjoy these aerodynamic gems, which make this Giulia fly fast as hell.
The shape of the rear spoiler is based on studies and designs that are very reminiscent of the Luna Rossa foil, which enables the hull to fly above the water. On the track, this element contributes to a 5X downforce increase.
The new front flicks not only keep the front of the Giulia pushed down on the track – providing maximum grip and control when cornering – but also give this wild beast an even more aggressive and nasty look.
The side skirts contributes to clean the side air flow towards the tail of the car. These ones have been recalibrated according to specific engineering requirements to provide even more friction and grip, together with the front and rear extras.
An exclusively dedicated version of 19’’ alloy wheels: forged aluminum with unique hand made paint. Another one-of-a-kind feature.
Silver on red: the synthesis of two Italian iconic brands, united. This unique Alfa Romeo logo celebrates the partnership with Luna Rossa in the most effective and impressive way.
The color is exactly the same as that of the hull that will fly over the waters of Naples during the next America's Cup. This limited edition is so unique that we wanted to offer the option of choosing a two-tone version using exposed carbon fibre.
In addition to being skilled at making cars and racing boats, we Italians are known for our unique style. What unites the two brands in this partnership is the pursuit of excellence.
